Testimonials

Full Sail University has engaged Mr. Li to advise and consult with our in-house, paid, professional security team. In that capacity, he has also created and led security planning/protection for a high-level project in a very unstable geography in South America. The project was spread across 8 cities, 16 locations and 3 languages. For each campus location, Mr. Li had to integrate law enforcement, faculty/staff security and student safety. He managed this with efficiency and discretion at every turn.

I consider it a privilege to recommend James to similar organizations. I am thankful for how God has chosen to gift James and use him for this unique calling, and at such an important time. The need for safety is high in our cities today, but even more so, is the need for Christ. James understands that very well, and I believe that is what most differentiates his services.
— Matt Hustad, Vice President, Milwaukee Rescue Mission

I have had the good fortune of knowing James since 2012, when he began to work with The Paragon School, a private K-12 school for students affected by autism. Over the years, James served in multiple capacities at our school-as the founder of Dragonfly Martial Arts, teaching self-defense to our middle and high school students as well as a consultant and trainer on security measures for our school operation.

James has an extensive background working in security and is quick to ascertain and remediate potential risks within the community surrounding a school as well as any which may exist within the school setting. James worked with administration at The Paragon School to review, revise, and create new policies in order to ensure safety of students, staff, families, and visitors was at the highest level. James conducted superior training with our staff on various aspects of safety, including how to respond during an active shooter scenario. As a result of James’s training, staff were equipped with knowledge, physical skills, and a proactive mindset to better respond to both standard and emergency management situations.
— Helen B. Leonard, Former Head of The Paragon School for Autism

Over the years, James provided my staff (between 20 and 30 teachers per school year) multiple security training sessions. James trained our teachers in areas of classroom safety, playground security, lock down procedures and other school and church safety issues. He communicated with my staff in a clear and effective manner, emphasizing the seriousness of the topic without causing alarm. James listened to the concerns of the teachers and addressed each question or concern thoughtfully. When necessary, James ensured that changes were made at our facility that provided extra security for our teachers and children. Additionally, whenever a parent had a security concern, James was more than happy to meet with families to discuss situations through to resolution.

Our school enrolls between 130 and 160 students per school year. Thanks to James, we have multiple layers of security to protect our students and staff. His security protocols and procedures have put our parents and families at ease.
— Pam Anderson Director, Cooperative School at Northland

I have been involved in missionary security for more than 30 years and I’ve known James Li for most of that time, both professionally and personally. During that time James has continually enhanced his security skills, both in personal protection and in facility security. In addition James has developed a network of security resources that has enabled him to monitor threat levels worldwide. In this regard I have worked with James by providing threat information in advance of church leadership travel and preparing short-term mission teams traveling abroad.

James familiarity with both missions and with mega-church function, has uniquely qualified to provide expertise in a wide span of security challenges. Also James’ personal faith in Christ causes him to be sensitive to security needs of churches, developing security programs that are effective but not overt or intrusive.

James Li was the leader of Northland Church’s Security Team during the latter years of my tenure there as Senior Pastor (from 1985-2017). He was and is a respected consultant of church and religious gatherings’ security measures. He oversaw major events, such as a speaking event at our church featuring First Lady Michelle Obama. He oversaw the security of many international guests and officials, including those from China and the Middle East. He directed and advised features of my security on my journeys overseas into potentially dangerous situations, such as my trip to Iran.

He also works very well with a local team, as he did for our local church, to be vigilant in more “home grown” possible threats. His humble attitude and cooperative spirit make him a pleasure to work with.
— Dr. Joel C. Hunter, Pastor of Community, Action Church, Former Religious Advisor to President Obama

When I was assigned to help organize and oversee logistics for our 75th Anniversary event at our international headquarters, I immediately thought of having James evaluate our facility and plans. I valued James’ opinion and wanted outside eyes to look at our event.

James did an excellent job of giving us wise counsel on how to provide good security while still maintaining a friendly, festive environment during the event. I found him to be professional, personable and alert to areas that could be an issue.
— David Zelenak, Former Head of US Mobilization, Ethnos 360
